High school graduate, preferably with courses in biology and chemistry.
Good manual dexterity is essential.
Concise, legible handwriting.
Ability to use typewriter keyboard.
Previous laboratory experience or medical assistant training and/or certification or satisfactory completion of laboratory introductory phlebotomy course, if offered.
Available for weekend and holiday scheduling.
ORGANIZATION
Under direct supervision of technical director and section manager; also may receive instructions from pathologists, technologists, and technicians and section managers.
Has daily working contact with laboratory staff, nursing personnel, inpatients and outpatients.
SPECIFIC DUTIES

68. Process deep tissue aspirations; Assist with superficial aspirations
