Part Time Cadillac OBGYN Physician MD/DO

GENERAL SUMMARY

This is in-hospital OB/GYN coverage for deliveries, admissions, discharges. Also includes ED coverage for gyn emergencies. This position is for 10 8-hour in hospital shifts per month plus 10 24-hour call shifts per month (can overlap with hospital shifts). If preferred, this position could be in clinic coverage rather than hospital coverage.

If in hospital coverage, the physician will also have responsibility for running mock codes, OB in-house quality projects, and other educational initiatives with the OB inpatient team. Assistance in the OB clinic may be requested on occasion to fill unexpected absences.

STANDARD QUALIFICATIONS

• MD or DO
• Successful completion of an approved U.S. Residency training program approved by the Accrediting Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) of the American Medical Association, or the American Osteopathic Association or its equivalent.

Certification, Licensure, Registration:

• Board eligible/certified for OB/GYN practice in the State of Michigan
• NRP, BLS, EFM certified

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS

• Candidate must apply for and be granted applicable clinical privileges through MHC’s credentialing processes before rendering services.
• Good judgment and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
• Ability to make quality, independent medical decisions.
• Time management and organizational skills.
• 3+ years of experience preferred.
