What’s Required:
- Require graduation from a recognized school of nursing and current Michigan RN licensure. BSN preferred.
- At least five years experience in home health and or applicable medical/surgical nursing in the acute care setting.
- Self-directed professional with ability to make independent judgments directing patient care.
- Demonstrated effectiveness in working with others, with excellent oral and written communication skills and human relations skills.
- Complies with accepted professional standards of practice.
- Ability to physically move, position and transfer clients up to 200# utilizing good body mechanics, lifting techniques and/or assistive devices.
- Expert health assessment, organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Possesses current Michigan motor vehicle license, ability to drive a car, and insured vehicle capable of transport to patient homes or other offices under various weather conditions.
