Looking for career growth or to expand your healthcare knowledge? Consider our Electroneurodiagnostic Residency Program! We are seeking a Neurodiagnostic Intern to join our team at Munson Medical Center.
Munson Medical Center is offering to pay a $16,000 (taxable) certification bonus towards the program tuition costs. Selected candidates will enroll in an online program that offers long distance training in Electroneurodiagnostic Technology (EEG). Professionals in this health science field study and record the electrical activity of the central, peripheral and autonomic nervous systems using sophisticated electronic testing equipment.
The program takes approximately 48 weeks to complete, during which you will gain hands-on experience as an Electroneurodiagnostic Intern at Munson Medical Center, including completing clinical rotations.
The Neurodiagnostic Intern assists the Neurodiagnostic Technologists with completing inpatient and outpatient EEG testing. The intern role also assists with other non-clinical tasks such as cleaning equipment and restocking supplies.
Program Requirements:
- High School Diploma/GED
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Pre-approved clinical site (Munson Medical Center in Traverse City, MI)
- Basic word processing and computer skills
- Computer access is required
- CPR certification
