About Our Emergency Department:
Munson Medical Center’s 43-bed Emergency Department sees an average of 133 patients daily. As a Level II Trauma Center, regional Referral Center, Comprehensive Stroke Center, Certified Chest Pain Center, and with a dedicated behavioral health wing, we provide comprehensive care around the clock. Our team of board-certified Emergency Physicians, advanced practice practitioners, and registered nurses is fully staffed 24/7, ensuring care for pediatric and adult patients with conditions ranging from minor illnesses to critical emergencies.

As the Emergency Department Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping our department's processes and ensuring that our patients receive top-notch care. What We’re Looking For:
 
  • Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of general nursing experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of leadership experience in an emergency department setting (charge nurse, educator, manager).

  • Develop and evaluate data collection systems for nursing practices and patient care, modifying processes as needed.
  • Promote and maintain patient-centered outcomes that are culturally sensitive and inclusive.
  • Direct and evaluate patient care delivery, ensuring adherence to regulations and clinical guidelines.
  • Empower nurses to be accountable for patient outcomes, providing leadership in setting nursing practice standards.
  • Establish a culture of safety and report liability risks.
