Patient Care Support Careers

If you love people and want to make a real difference, consider one of our many direct care roles. Munson Healthcare has a broad range of direct patient care support opportunities across our system. These currently include:

Medical Assistants - We're hiring both certified and non-certified medical assistants to support clinical and administrative duties in our provider practices and clinics. Our Medical Assistant Apprenticeship program will support you in becoming credentialed.
Nursing Assistants - If you've dreamed of caring for patients in a hospital setting, consider a nursing assistant role to launch your medical career. Start as a Nurse Assistant, where you'll gain invaluable experience performing basic patient care, and work your way toward becoming a Nurse Technician and then a Registered Nurse - we'll help you get there!
Competency Evaluated Nursing Assistant CENA - We're hiring CENAs to care for patients' personal and comfort needs in a variety of healthcare settings, including inpatient units and long-term care facilities. Not yet certified? Many of our locations offer paid training programs!
Phlebotomists - Work directly with patients to draw blood for medical testing, diagnosis and transfusions. Phlebotomists can help to ease any nerves a patient may have with needles. This role helps ensure the tracking and management of blood samples for accurate testing results.

Patient care is what we do

Working directly with a patient is a special role. We often see patients in a very different way than most of the people in their lives. A patient can be at their most vulnerable when receiving care. Our patient care support teams play a critical role by helping our patients feel safe, cared for, and comfortable in their journey to recovery.
