A Day in the Life 

• The Clinical Application Specialist EHR Trainer will provide active and pro-active learning activities for all users of the electronic health record. Focusing on successful individual proficiency of clinical and business workflow and processes while coordinating learning activities with other education/trainer activities.

What’s Required  

• Bachelor's degree (preferably IS/Business or Healthcare emphasis) or an Associate's degree (preferably IS/Business or healthcare emphasis) with 2 years' relevant experience (IS/Business or Healthcare) or 4 years in Healthcare or IS/Business/physician office experience.

• One year experience in a healthcare setting or other technical/clinical experience. Understanding of basic clinical processes of healthcare; translating people, process and technology issues and conflicts.

• Prior experience with an electronic medical record; prior teaching/education experience, preparing and sharing information.
