The Nursing Assistant II role is part of the RN Pathway at Munson Healthcare.
The Nursing Assistant II shares the same responsibilities as the Nursing Assistant, with the addition of actively pursuing an associate degree in nursing or Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing.
Nursing Assistant II will have flexible scheduling to ensure they are successful in school.
Requirements:
A Nurse Assistant's responsibilities may include:
Performing basic patient care needs and services essential to caring for the patients' personal and comfort needs
Complete personal hygiene
Collecting specimens
Assisting patients with daily walking and exercise
Transporting patients between departments
Observing, reporting and recording vital signs of the patient
High school graduate or GED equivalent.
Actively enrolled in a state approved school of nursing and successful completion of at least one semester of nursing prerequisites or core nursing curriculum.
Obtain/Maintain CPR certification in adult maneuvers (child and infant may be required by some departments) at all times.
May be required to lift more than 35 pounds.
