Job Description
A Day in the Life
An HME Tech I delivers equipment to the client’s home in a safe manner, setting it up and instructing on its operation and use. They rotate through an on-call schedule with other technicians covering the territory during non-business hours. They maintain and clean the equipment, vehicles, and facility following procedures and making the equipment patient ready.
Qualifications
What’s Required
- MA, EMT, LPN, or equivalent training and experience
- Current Michigan motor vehicle license and able to drive to deliver equipment to patients’ homes
