A Day in the Life 

Join a team where your expertise truly matters. As a Radiologic Technologist Traveler at Munson Healthcare, you’ll play an essential role in delivering high‑quality imaging that supports diagnosis, treatment, and outstanding patient care.

• Work with advanced, portable, and specialized x‑ray equipment to produce high‑quality diagnostic images.
• Provide compassionate, safe, and professional care to patients of all ages, from neonatal to geriatric.

• Rotate within departments as needed, expanding your skills across a variety of imaging environments.

What’s Required

• Successful completion of the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Radiography exam
• Current ARRT registration in good standing
• 2+ years of Staff Technologist experience (3+ years preferred)
• Current BLS certification (biannual renewal required)
• Experience in one or more radiology subspecialties is helpful but not required, including:
  • Special Procedures
  • Mammography
  • Nuclear Medicine
  • MRI
  • CT
  • Ultrasound

Physical & Work Environment Highlights

• Frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting, and patient positioning (with assistive devices)
• Lifting up to 50 lbs and assisting with repositioning patients up to 400 lbs
• Fast‑paced clinical settings with frequent interruptions and varying workload
• Potential exposure to chemicals, radiation, or emergency situations—always supported by proper safety protocols
• Clear communication (verbal and written) is essential for safe, effective patient care
