Job Description
This role directs Anesthesia and Perioperative Services operations across all Munson Healthcare and contracted locations. Provides oversight of system anesthesia providers, Advanced Testing and Registration Centers. Leads system-wide standardization, best practice implementation, and coordinated anesthesia scheduling and staffing to ensure high-quality, efficient care.
Your Leadership in Action
- Oversees the budget, financial performance, and operations of Anesthesia Services.
- Ensures high-quality, safe, and compliant anesthesia care across the system.
- Leads and holds direct reports accountable for operational and performance goals.
- Collaborates with clinical and operational leaders to support anesthesia services across procedural areas.
- Partners with the Anesthesia Medical Director to standardize and improve anesthesia care delivery.
- Develops recruitment, workforce, and staffing strategies to ensure efficient anesthesia coverage across the health system.
Qualifications
What’s Required
- Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred, with a concentration in Management, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Hospital Administration, or Nursing Administration.
- Minimum of five (5) years of management experience in anesthesia services, surgical services, or a closely related clinical environment.
- Proven ability to lead and manage change in a complex healthcare setting.
- Demonstrated success in building collaborative relationships with organizational leaders, physicians, and clinical providers.
